The Disney fun continues, and sometimes you find it in the most unexpected places. We stopped to have a late lunch yesterday at "Sunshine Seasons" a little cafeteria at EPCOT. While we were enjoying our Disney meal plan, one of the Chinese foreign exchange student cafeteria workers approached with Mickey Mouse gloves and asked if the girls wanted to come dance. It was kind of an odd request, but when she promised a chocolate chip cookie at the end, the girls were sold. The subsequent parade of children and cafeteria workers around the restaurant culminated in "The Chicken Dance" followed by the "Hokey Pokey". Totally spontaneous, and yet absolutely one of the trip's highlights. Isn't that always the way?

I would have soooo danced too. Is that wrong?
ReplyDeleteAhhh. the chicken dance. =) I'm glad the girls got to practice it. It's a tradition to play the chicken dance song at any Metzger wedding. =) Dustin's grandmother's request. I look forward to seeing Josh dance to it. =)
